Computer Technician – Qualification Summary (5–7 Years Experience)
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 5–7 years in hardware and software support roles across corporate, industrial, or educational environments.
- Skills:
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and common software applications
- Skilled in network setup, troubleshooting, and basic server maintenance
- Familiar with cybersecurity protocols, backup systems, and data recovery tools
- Fluent in English with excellent customer support and documentation abilities
- Certifications (optional but valuable):
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Technician
- ITIL Foundation or equivalent service management training
- Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and maintenance for hardware and software systems
- Install, configure, and upgrade IT equipment and applications
- Monitor system performance and resolve user issues promptly
- Maintain inventory, logs, and service records for IT assets
