Chief Accountant – Qualification Summary (7+ Years Experience)
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years in accounting roles, including leadership in financial reporting, audits, and compliance.
- Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in SAP ERP for general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel for financial modeling, pivot tables, and reconciliation
- Deep understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and local tax regulations
- Fluent in English with excellent documentation and communication skills
- Skilled in managing month-end/year-end closings, budgeting, and internal controls
- Responsibilities:
- Lead the accounting team and oversee daily financial operations
- Prepare accurate financial statements and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and senior management
- Implement process improvements and maintain financial integrity across systems
