Purchasing Chief – Qualification Summary (7+ Years Experience)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Over 7 years in procurement leadership roles, managing purchasing operations across diverse industries.
- Languages: Fluent in English and Arabic, with strong communication and negotiation skills in both.
- Skills:
- Proficient in SAP MM and related modules for procurement, vendor management, and inventory control
- Strong understanding of sourcing strategies, contract negotiation, and cost optimization
- Skilled in supplier evaluation, RFQs, PO processing, and compliance tracking
- Familiar with international procurement standards, logistics coordination, and import/export regulations
- Responsibilities:
- Lead procurement planning and execution for materials, services, and equipment
- Develop vendor relationships and ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing
- Monitor purchasing KPIs, budgets, and cost-saving initiatives
- Coordinate with finance, logistics, and project teams to align procurement with operational goals
