Job Description

Electrical Engineer (Cathodic Protection) – Qualification Summary (5–7 Years Experience)

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Corrosion Engineering.
  • Experience: 5–7 years in cathodic protection design, installation, and maintenance across oil & gas, marine, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in cathodic protection systems including impressed current and sacrificial anode designs
    • Skilled in site surveys, potential measurements, and system troubleshooting
    • Familiar with NACE standards, DC power systems, and protective coatings
    • Fluent in English with strong technical reporting and documentation abilities
    • Experienced in coordinating with civil, mechanical, and QA/QC teams for integrated corrosion control
  • Responsibilities:
    • Design and implement cathodic protection systems for pipelines, tanks, and marine structures
    • Conduct field inspections, testing, and maintenance of CP installations
    • Prepare technical reports, drawings, and compliance documentation
    • Ensure system performance meets regulatory and client specifications
