QA/QC Manager – Qualification Summary (10+ Years Experience)
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Quality Engineering.
- Experience: Over 10 years in quality assurance and control roles, with proven leadership in marine construction, concrete works, and quarry operations.
- Skills:
- Deep knowledge of QA/QC procedures, inspection protocols, and compliance standards for marine infrastructure
- Proficient in concrete mix design, batching plant audits, and on-site testing (slump, cube strength, permeability)
- Experienced in quarry material classification, aggregate testing, and source approval
- Fluent in English with strong documentation, reporting, and team coordination abilities
- Familiar with international standards (ISO 9001, ASTM, BS, ACI) and project-specific specifications
- Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans and ITPs
- Lead inspection teams for marine piling, concrete placement, and quarry material verification
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and third-party labs for quality compliance
- Manage NCRs, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
