Welder (3G & 6G Certified) – Qualification Summary (5–7 Years Experience)
- Education: Technical diploma or certified welding training from a recognized institute.
- Experience: 5–7 years in structural and pipe welding roles across construction, fabrication, and oil & gas sectors.
- Skills:
- Certified in 3G (vertical groove weld) and 6G (pipe weld at 45° angle) positions
- Proficient in SMAW, GTAW, and FCAW welding processes
- Fluent in English with strong documentation and safety communication skills
- Skilled in weld preparation, fit-up, defect correction, and post-weld inspection
- Familiar with welding codes (AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX) and quality control standards
- Responsibilities:
- Execute high-quality welds on structural components and piping systems in 3G and 6G positions
- Interpret welding symbols, drawings, and specifications accurately
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Support QA/QC teams during inspections and rectify non-conformities
