Excavator Operator – Qualification Summary (5–7 Years Experience)
- Education: Technical diploma or certified training in Heavy Equipment Operation or Civil Works.
- Experience: 5–7 years operating excavators in construction, infrastructure, mining, or marine projects.
- Skills:
- Proficient in handling hydraulic excavators, long-reach, and crawler models
- Skilled in trenching, grading, earthmoving, and material loading
- Fluent in English with strong communication and safety documentation abilities
- Familiar with site plans, dig permits, and equipment maintenance protocols
- Experienced in working around utilities, sloped terrain, and tight-access zones
- Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators safely and efficiently according to project specifications
- Perform daily equipment checks and report faults or maintenance needs
- Coordinate with site supervisors, riggers, and safety teams during operations
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and contribute to site productivity
