Job Description
Cost Control Engineer – Qualification Summary (5–7 Years Experience)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 5–7 years in cost control roles within construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
- Skills:
- Proficient in cost estimation, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and cost control software (e.g., CCS, Candy)
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle, procurement processes, and contract management
- Fluent in English with excellent reporting and analytical skills
- Familiar with international standards and cost control methodologies (e.g., Earned Value Management, WBS, CBS)
- Responsibilities:
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures against planned costs
- Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial dashboards
- Coordinate with planning, procurement, and finance teams to ensure cost efficiency
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and support change management processes
