Job Description
Draftsman – Qualification Summary (5–7 Years Experience)
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5–7 years producing detailed technical drawings for construction, architectural, mechanical, or electrical projects.
- Skills:
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other CAD software for 2D and 3D drafting
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation
- Familiar with international drawing standards and layering conventions
- Fluent in English with excellent annotation, dimensioning, and documentation skills
- Able to collaborate with engineers, architects, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance
- Responsibilities:
- Prepare and revise detailed drawings based on design specifications and site conditions
- Coordinate with design and technical teams to resolve discrepancies
- Maintain drawing logs and ensure timely submission of deliverables
- Support quantity take-offs and material specifications when required
