Electrical Engineer (Cathodic Protection) – Qualification Summary (5–7 Years Experience)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Corrosion Engineering.
- Experience: 5–7 years in cathodic protection design, installation, and maintenance across oil & gas, marine, or infrastructure sectors.
- Skills:
- Proficient in cathodic protection systems including impressed current and sacrificial anode designs
- Skilled in site surveys, potential measurements, and system troubleshooting
- Familiar with NACE standards, DC power systems, and protective coatings
- Fluent in English with strong technical reporting and documentation abilities
- Experienced in coordinating with civil, mechanical, and QA/QC teams for integrated corrosion control
- Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cathodic protection systems for pipelines, tanks, and marine structures
- Conduct field inspections, testing, and maintenance of CP installations
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and compliance documentation
- Ensure system performance meets regulatory and client specifications
