Job Description
Planning Engineer – Qualification Summary (5–7 Years Experience)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 5–7 years in project planning and scheduling within construction, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
- Skills:
- Expert in Primavera P6 for project scheduling, resource loading, and baseline management
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel for data analysis, dashboards, and cost tracking
- Proficient in developing and maintaining project timelines, WBS, and progress reports
- Familiar with Earned Value Management (EVM), delay analysis, and recovery planning
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and reporting abilities
- Responsibilities:
- Prepare and update detailed project schedules aligned with contractual milestones
- Monitor progress, identify delays, and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate with site teams, cost control, and procurement to ensure schedule integrity
- Generate weekly/monthly reports for stakeholders and senior management
