Procurement Engineer – Qualification Summary (5–7 Years Experience)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5–7 years in procurement roles within engineering, construction, or industrial sectors.
- Skills:
- Proficient in SAP MM and related modules for procurement planning, vendor management, and material tracking
- Strong understanding of technical specifications, RFQs, PO processing, and cost analysis
- Fluent in English with excellent negotiation, documentation, and coordination skills
- Familiar with international procurement standards, contract terms, and logistics workflows
- Able to collaborate with engineering, finance, and project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing
- Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and services based on project requirements
- Evaluate suppliers and negotiate contracts to meet quality and budget targets
- Monitor delivery schedules, resolve discrepancies, and maintain procurement records in SAP
