Job Description

Safety Officer – Qualification Summary (5–7 Years Experience)

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
  • Experience: 5–7 years in safety roles across construction, industrial, or oil & gas sectors.
  • Skills:
    • Fluent in English with strong communication, reporting, and training abilities
    • Proficient in conducting risk assessments, site inspections, and incident investigations
    • Skilled in implementing safety plans, emergency procedures, and PPE compliance
    • Familiar with ISO 45001, OHSAS 18001, and local regulatory standards
    • Experienced in delivering toolbox talks, maintaining safety records, and promoting a zero-incident culture
  • Responsibilities:
    • Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures
    • Identify hazards, issue corrective actions, and follow up on compliance
    • Conduct safety inductions and awareness sessions for workers and staff
    • Support audits, incident reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
